Musk Mallow (Edible Leaves & Pink Flowers)
£4.95
Musk Mallow (Malva moschata)
Musk Mallow is a graceful, long-flowering perennial with finely cut, mid-green leaves and silky, saucer-shaped blooms in soft pink that appear from early summer into autumn. Its light, airy habit fits beautifully into cottage gardens, wildflower mixes, and pollinator-friendly borders. Once established, it will gently self-seed and return year after year.
The flowers are edible with a subtle floral flavour, perfect for scattering over salads, desserts, or using as natural cake decorations. While not as mucilaginous as other mallows, young leaves can also be eaten raw or cooked, and the plant has a long history of traditional herbal use.
Perennial | 40-80cm tall | Full sun to partial shade | Ornamental flower, edible petals | Pollinator friendly, self-seeding

Tough and undemanding, Musk Mallow thrives in poor soils, resists drought, and supports bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects throughout its long bloom time. Light, resilient, and beautifully informal, it?s an ideal choice for naturalistic planting schemes and relaxed edible gardens.
